NYPD officials arrested an on-duty postal worker in Brooklyn earlier this month after the worker yelled at them because they were about to hit his truck. The NYPD lieutenant who supervised the plainclothes cops who made the arrest has been stripped of his badge and gun. Video of arrest. Lawmakers in Mississippi have passed legislation that would dictate the sex life of not only those in the LGBT community, but also anyone who has premarital sex. The bill states that it would also allow a government employee to refuse to grant a marriage license to a couple who has had premarital sex. Five of the top players US women’s national soccer are suing the US Soccer Federation for pay discrimination. Men are awarded bonuses whether or not they win, while the women are only given bonuses if they win a match. Female soccer teams are making more in revenue than the male team and have been winning more games, yet are still being paid less than their male counterparts.
