Cenk hosting. Polls about the number of Americans that would vote for a Socialist. Video of Chris Matthews joking about how unserious of a candidate Bernie Sanders is since Hillary is there to take the crown. Videos of Matthews’ past comments about catching feelings from Obama and Bush when he was in office. Donald Trump is polling 2nd among the NH GOP primary field, only behind Jeb Bush. Cenk admits that this shows his antics work. The Pope is back in the news for bashing managers and financial businessmen and people that work for weapons companies, claiming that they can’t be real Christians. Old comedian Jackie Mason is making headlines for his opinion on comedians being forced to be PC when joking about gay people and Black people. He claimed that straight men walking down the street with a girlfriend are nervous, because the gays are in charge. He went on to say that free speech is only available to Black people. Once authorities finally caught up with and arrested Dylann Roof, it has been confirmed that while being transported back to Charleston, they stopped at Burger King and grabbed him some food. The discussions over the Confederate flag continue as Mississippi and Virginia are also considering pulling the flag from their government buildings and license plates. Video of Haley Barbour telling Morning Joe that he isn’t offended at all by the Confederate flag, but some people are, as he constantly dodged the question of whether or not it should be taken down. Since so many people are claiming that the Confederate flag is about Southern tradition, Cenk breaks down the real origin of the flag, which was introduced and flown as a sign against Civil Rights. Video of Bill O’Reilly claiming that the Confederate flag is a symbol of bravery to many regarding the Civil War. Reading of seceding states’ manifestos over wanting to keep the institution of slavery. NOTE: The video froze at the end of the 2nd segment (after a John S. Mosby quote) and had to be cut short. Ana joins Cenk for SCS. Don Lemon intro that featured displaying the Confederate flag and a poster of the word Nigger. Video of CNN’s legal analyst disputing Lemon’s use of the word. The internet turned Lemon’s intro into hilarious memes. Piers Morgan is arguing that people using the N-word should be jailed since it leads to widespread racist attitudes. This opinion is based in many European countries’ policy that hate speech is punishable with jail time. A BuzzFeed writer posted about her period on Twitter and the idea of sharing details about one’s menstrual cycle took off. This came up after a user posted a picture of a woman lying in bed with blood showing through her pants, and was swiftly banned. Ana isn’t really in favor of this campaign. NatureBox mention. Diddy has been arrested for assaulting his son’s UCLA football coach because he was yelling at his kid during practice. Cenk talks about how normal it is for football coaches to yell at the players. Conrad Hilton has been arrested again for breaking and entering the home of his ex girlfriend’s Hollywood home. Discussion about how he’s on probation, but will probably not go to jail for violating. The ex girlfriend is the daughter of the man Paris did the famous sex tape with. Cenk talks about how this heir lifestyle is actually disastrous since they have no chance except being an asshole. Cenk and Ana talk about his latest delicious meal. Ana talks about the FitBit she got as an early birthday present and how its monitoring of her sleep has made her realize how badly she rests. This makes Cenk realize how happy he is to have been born in the socio-economic level he was...not rich, not poor. Cenk finally remembers to play the Hulk Hogan song he’s gotten his son to love. Video of the song’s music video. Ana can’t stand the cheesiness.
