Cenk and John Iadarola. Rand Paul has announced his bid for President in 2016 as a different kind of Republican candidate. John outlines the radically insane cuts included in his proposed budgetary agenda. His cuts to foreign assistance to countries like Israel indicate his label as a Libertarian. The problem with those cuts is that he backpedaled on previous tough statements on Israeli aid. Tax credits for poor and lower class citizens would be eliminated as well. Rand Paul’s campaign website sells several humorous products for your everyday libertarian. A Republican attack ad from one GOP group linked him to Obama on foreign policy on the Iran deal. Video of the dark & bloody ad. Video of Fox and Friends’ guest Dallas Woodhouse claimed that Rand needs to prove he’ll nuke a Muslim country in order to be considered a viable candidate for the Republican party. Talk about these bloodthirsty strategists that don’t understand how many people are destroyed by a nuclear bomb. President Obama responded to Scott Walker’s declaration that he’d remove the Iran deal on day one of his Administration if he becomes president. Video of Obama telling Walker he needs to bone up on his foreign policy knowledge before speaking. Scott Walker responded via Twitter by saying Obama should spend more time working with Congress than attacking him. Cenk points out why this attention is a win for Walker. As NJ resident Philip White was being arrested by cops, they allowed their dog to maul him to death. Video and pictures of the attack. The victim’s cause of death was respiratory distress. Ana joins Cenk for SCS. Announcement that Ana is up for a Webbie award. John Travolta has responded to the documentary Going Clear, about the Church of Scientology. The UVA frat that was accused of rape and covered heavily by Rolling Stone is now suing the magazine. Mindy Cowling’s brother wrote an article claiming he got into medical school by posing as a Black man, in order to show how wrong Affirmative Action is. The number of holes in his story is appalling. Urban Congo of Princeton University has been disbanded after the group performed a highly offensive routine. They wore loincloths and beat on drums in an apparent attempt at humor to mock African culture. Cenk doesn’t see much of a problem with this. A statue of Edward Snowden was secretly erected in a Brooklyn park overnight. It was promptly taken down. The federal agency Nat’l Institute on Drug Abuse determined that marijuana does have medicinal benefits for treating cancer. Despite the findings, the Dept of Justice vowed to still enforce the federal drug laws that claim the opposite.
