Cenk hosting. A born again Christian that describes himself as an anti porn crusader that offers to speak to church groups and their kids. The only problem is that he has been arrested 2 times since December for multiple counts of sexual abuse of minors. Stacey Dash has continued her stream of ridiculousness on Fox News by blaming raped college girls for not being “good girls.” Video of her claiming that the bad girls put themselves in bad situations when they go out, play, get drunk, and overdrink. Video of Andrea Tantaros adding onto the horrible argument by feeling bad for college guys being convicted before they do anything. America’s gun deaths are 10 per 100K people, compared to the UK; 0.23 per 100K. A study showed that the states with higher gun ownership and relaxed gun control results in higher gun deaths. A UC Berkeley professor looked into the murder rates of Muslim nations vs non-Muslim nations to see if the talking point that Muslims are naturally more violent is valid. The rate of Muslim countries was 2.4 per 100K vs 7.5 in non-Muslim countries. Other factors are what makes the difference, like culture and socioeconomic reasons. Bobby Jindal continued to push the idea of no-go zones coming to America, hoping to gin up some racist support of the fringe of the Republican Party. Another Texas Rep Molly White attacked the legitimacy of Muslim Americans unless they recite the pledge of allegiance and reject flags of their country of origin. The Washington Post has randomly decided that the GOP front runner is now Jeb Bush. Cenk dissects how slight Jeb’s chances really are to win the GOP nomination. The WaPost came to their conclusion due to Bush’s compilation of donors that like Jeb more than others, illustrating that they acknowledge money is a very important factor. Cenk reveals who he believes has a real chance to win the GOP nomination, and who has no chance. Cenk’s eliminations: Romney, Jeb Bush, Rick Santorum, Bobby Jindal, Marco Rubio, and Rick Perry. Cenk’s contenders: Scott Walker, John Kasich, Chris Christie, Mike Huckabee, Ted Cruz, and Rand Paul. Scott Walker spoke about how people shouldn’t bet against him on a run for president as he’s now the new leader among potential contenders. Walker has proposed cutting Univ of Wisconsin budget by $300 million to fill the deficit hole he created though giveaways to the rich. He’s also asking for $500 million for a new basketball stadium for the Milwaukee Bucks. Ana joins Cenk for SCS. AZ governor wants to cut funding for public education and funnel it to private prisons, while also handing $52 million more to public prisons. Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County surprisingly disagreed vehemently with these plans. Arpaio’s motivation may be that he wants more prisoners to go to public prisons rather than private ones. Two former San Diego police officers have been busted for burglarizing homes and stealing prescription pills. Ana is slightly torn on this since being addicted to prescription drugs is a big deal that is hard to shake. A couple of cops are in trouble for holding an 11 year old girl on the floor with guns drawn in her own house when they responded to a house invasion alarm. The cops have both been in trouble before over botched investigations and for filing false police reports. A 4th grade Texas student was suspended for making terrorist threats for claiming he has the magic ring from Lord of the Rings, and would use it to make his friend disappear. He was suspended in the past for calling another classmate Black, and for bringing a picture of a pregnant woman to school. Comedian and talk show host, W. Kamau Bell was mistaken for a panhandler in Berkeley, CA while talking to his White wife and White girlfriends on the outdoor patio of a cafe they were eating at. A billionaire is going through a divorce, and the soon to be ex wife is asking for $1 million/month in the settlement. Outraged, he listed all of the needless lavish spending she wants to continue to have to show how much she doesn’t need that kind of cash. Cenk is annoyed by the term, “The lifestyle I’ve become accustomed to” for extremely rich people.
