Cenk hosting today. The Pope is hitting the road and will be visiting the Philippines with its traffic enforcers being encouraged to wear adult diapers to prevent over “excitement” and will be showing a Black Jesus. The Daily Mail is reporting that street children as young as five are being rounded up by the police, in the Philippines, to make the Pope’s visit more pleasant and the appearance of the Philippines less impoverish. Duke University are allowing the Muslim call to prayer in their chappell, but an article from Breitbart are not to fond of Duke allowing it, saying that Duke University has a “long history of fostering political correctness and hypersensitivity” After Fox’s terrorism analyst Steve Emerson caught hell for claiming that Birmingham England is ‘totally Muslim’ he was worried that his job is at stake and told the BBC about it. In reality, Fox News has been going crazy with the talking point of “No Go Zones.” Video of Hasselbeck talking with another expert about the no go zones, comparing them to breeding grounds like Afghanistan after 9-11. A guns group called The Truth About Guns conducted several simulations to find out what could’ve happened if the Charlie Hebdo offices had a gunman inside to respond to the attackers. They found that in every scene, the victims would’ve still died. After France’s Unity Rally in response to the terrorist attacks, the French government has arrested 54 people, including one well-known comedian for being anti-Semitic or “apologists for terrorists.” Now that the GOP is in power in Congress, they’re planning to eliminate all regulations that protect the public from harmful effects from business, through endless legal actions. Tom Donohue, president of the Chamber of Commerce also spoke today about their 2015 agenda of calling for deregulation of Dodd Frank so that there is certainty from business. The GOP House has also passed a bill that would undermine Obama’s executive action on immigration reform by partially shutting down funding for certain aspects for the policy. The funding cut would also cut down the Dept of Homeland Security’s ability to do anything. Video of John Boehner speaking on the House floor about why they had to do what they did, because of Obama’s executive overreach. Cenk explains what he would do in response to this radical move if he were in President Obama’s shoes. Since they would be shutting down DHS, he would come forward and blame them for openly allowing our homeland to be vulnerable. Ana joins Cenk for SCS. Update on the students that were assaulted by police after Ohio State won the national championship. Ana points out that there were many more fires and instances of violence being initiated by rowdy students. The reason they pepper sprayed the celebrating kids was because the fire trucks couldn’t get through to tend to the fires. Cenk and Ana argue, causing Cenk to ask for a poll from the TYT audience to decide. Videos of Nancy Grace arguing with rapper 2 Chainz about the legalization of marijuana. Ana believes that Nancy Grace is dangerous. NASCAR driver Kurt Busch is fighting a restraining order that has been placed against him by his ex girlfriend. He claims that the woman is a trained assassin, so he can’t hurt her the way she claimed. He also testified that she came home with camouflage on with blood on her boots. A teenaged kid was being arrested until the officer collapsed on the floor. The handcuffed guy alerted others until they came and saved his life. Video of the heroism. An Arkansas gun range rejected entrance of a father/son duo looking to have some “guy time” due to the clerk’s belief that they were Muslim. West Hollywood has voted to make single stall restrooms gender neutral to accommodate transgendered citizens. Cenk and Ana debate over which restrooms are nastier, mens or womens. Ana talks about how she wishes W. Hollywood was the capital of the country because she loves it so much. After the Albuquerque DA charged the two officers that murdered a homeless man, she has been banned from another police shooting case, claiming that she has a conflict of interest. A man that was in a coma for 12 years now claims that he was conscious and aware the whole time, but couldn’t tell anyone due to his vegetative paralysis.
