The Young Turks: December 22, 2014

Cenk hosting today. More hackers and professionals are coming out claiming that they don’t believe N. Korea was responsible for the Sony hack, as the U.S. government claims. Cenk officially doesn’t believe it was N. Korea, either. The hacking group, The Guardians of Peace mocked the FBI after they announced it was N. Korea. The country itself also denied responsibility, and followed up with threatening the U.S. if we don’t join them in disproving the claim. In response to the conclusion the FBI came up with, Obama called it an act of vandalism, while Sens McCain and Graham called it an act of cyber warfare. Videos of the disagreement. Talk about Lindsey Graham’s framing of the argument to progress his bad point. The NJ Senate has passed the resolution to take money out of politics. Video of the vote. Cenk lists the players that made it happen. Fallout and response to the 2 murdered cops in NY on Saturday. The killer drove up from Baltimore after shooting his girlfriend. Cenk reads into the backgrounds of each cop and the heartfelt letter one of their sons wrote in tribute. Politicians against justice for murdered citizens by police are now blaming DeBlasio and Obama for calling out police misconduct. Video mashup of these voices. Cenk also reads other quotes from Conservatives that are using the killings to blame Obama and DeBlasio. A local Baltimore Fox station reported that anti-cop protesters were chanting about killing cops. Video of the skewed report and the raw chant that actually called for killer cops to be arrested. While cop supporters and Fox News are blaming Obama and DeBlasio for cop killing, these same hypocrites completely ignore cop killers like the White couple in Las Vegas that supported Cliven Bundy and RW grievances. After they killed 2 unsuspecting cops, they threw a “Dont Tread on Me” flag over their bodies. Cenk runs through several other similar cases.
