Gina Grad joins Ana for SCS. After Don Lemon asked one of Bill Cosby’s alleged rape victims why she didn’t bite his penis, he had her back on to talk about how she wasn’t offended by his questions. The AP has released previously unreleased footage of the portion of their interview with Cosby about the rape allegations. He told them to nix that part, but they have decided to release it now. After rumors flew that Raven Symone was molested by Cosby, she responded strongly against the allegations. Mattel is apologizing for a Barbie book they released that depicted her as an incompetent computer engineer that needed help from her male co-workers. A new kind of doll has been created to depict what real women look like, including acne, cellulite, and stretch marks. A group collected a few older grandmothers that never smoked weed and had them smoke, hang out, and talk about the feeling. Some of the major chocolate companies have revealed that supply is way lower than demand for the treat. This is due to climate changes affecting the growing of cacao plants. The lack of sanitary water and toilets around the world have caused many seemingly unrelated problems from disease to rape. Ana and Iadarola host TYT. John and Ana talk about the upcoming speech from Obama about his plan for utilizing Executive Order to finally do something about immigration reform. The major networks like ABC, CBS, and Fox will not be carrying Obama’s speech tonight. As the announcement approaches, Conservatives are losing their minds with rhetoric on how badly this will turn out. Video of Tom Coburn claiming that violence and anarchy will break out in the streets is shown. Rep. Michele Bachmann spoke out that Obama is pulling this move to open the borders to more “illiterate and unskilled” immigrants he can have as voters. John outlines the times that Republican Presidents like Reagan and HW Bush utilized Executive Order for Immigration policies. Elizabeth Warren spoke up to the Director of the FHFA, or Federal housing group formed to help families that are victims of foreclosure. She called out the head for not helping the way they were formed to do. It has come out that Democrat Chuck Schumer suggested bringing in moderate Dem Mark Warner to balance out the Liberal nature of Warren when she was receiving a leadership role. Dem Mary Landrieu released a new ad against her runoff opponent Bill Cassidy by calling him Not Cool. Ana doesn’t think the ad is very effective. Utah is proposing to bring back the firing squad for the death penalty since lethal drugs is more expensive and harder to obtain. John talks about the history of using a firing squad. Chart shows the evolving reasons supporters of the death penalty have had.
