The Young Turks: October 02, 2014

Ana joins Cenk for SCS. Two female teachers in Louisiana are in jail for having a threesome with a 16 year old male student. Both Cenk and Ana agree that this isn’t as egregious as most student/teacher relationships. They agree that they should be fired from their jobs. Cenk says that this is the greatest moment of the kid’s life and that the age of consent should be 16. Porn Hub did a study on women’s and men’s porn preferences. Women’s top 3 categories were Lesbian, Gay, and Teen. Men’s top list are Teen, MILF, and Mature. Oddly, bondage is on the list for women, but doesn’t even make the Men’s list. Researchers found that women are sexually looser when on vacation. Cenk talks about how humans are built to have sex with as many people as possible, including women, they’re just normally worried about being judged. An internal memo from Air Canada shows that they are having consistent issues with their pilots bringing porn into the cockpit. As many as 100 people may have been exposed to Ebola due to the man that has been diagnosed in Dallas. The Grand Jury for the Darren Wilson case in Ferguson is under investigation because one of the jury members has been tweeting and talking about the details of the case. A study published in the New England Journal of Medicine showed that educating teenagers on how to have safe sex resulted in a drop of teen pregnancy cases from 158 per 1000, to 34 per 1000. The College Republican National Cmte is taking heat for basing their latest campaign push on “Say Yes to the Dress” comparing dresses to candidates. Cenk was repulsed by the ad. Ana was amused by it because it shows how out of touch these Republicans are with young Americans. Cenk hosts TYT today. Louie Gohmert fusses on Lou Dobbs' show about the Secret Service lapses in a video. Gohmert somehow linked the lapses with the military being sent by Obama to catch Ebola and kill everyone here. Burger King workers have used their collective power to fight against the wage theft they’re experiencing. One of the women employees that was organizing was punished by the company, but they since they couldn’t do it for organizing, they decided to claim she was placing the pickles incorrectly on the burgers. A study showed that Americans’ perception of how much more CEOs make than employees is about 30 to1. In reality, it is up to 354 to 1. Americans think it should be 7 to1. People from all walks of life agree that there is great inequality in the world amongst the rich vs the poor. When participants in the poll were showed the unlabeled economic structure of Sweden vs. America, 92% of Americans chose to live in Sweden, clueless to the fact that they chose a Socialist society because the income distribution was fair. Most Americans have been brainwashed into thinking anything else is destructive to society. Cenk outlines the costs of the bombings in Iraq and Syria. The jets cost $143 million/plane. Last year, the total spending on the Iraq War was $139 billion just to defense contractors. $31 to $60 billion was lost to waste. Cenk wonders where the Congressional hearings are on this wasteful spending that was taken from American taxpayers. One of the contractors wrote about how war scenarios present “opportunity.” Justice Antonin Scalia spoke to Christian University in Colorado and claimed that he has no loss of sleep over his job because he just applies questions to the perfection that is the Constitution. He also criticized decisions that upheld the separation of Church and State and disagreed with ones that promoted secularism. Cenk points out that the Constitution does uphold secularism. Cenko Unchained. Dinesh D’Souza has been convicted of breaking campaign finance rules, and his wife came forward to dispel his assertion that she participated on the scam. She also accused him of physically abusing her. He used her name on the form without her permission. After he was very leniently sentenced on Sept 24, D’Souza went onto Fox News to brag about how he is still able to promote his book and movie. Due to this appearance, the judge rejected his request to delay his confinement to a halfway house so that he can promote his propaganda work. Videos of his braggadocious appearance on Megyn Kelly’s show are shown. It's a Twitter Storm with Kim Horcher!
