Since Ana missed the show yesterday, she is in the dark about why Cenk, Jesus, and Jayar are obsessed with the video of Tyrese and Dr. Dre celebrating the sale of Beats to Apple.  Ana talks about her New York trip and how much she hates that city.  When she was lost and right by her hotel, no cab drivers would help her out with simple information since her phone died.  Cenk tells a story of getting lost in New York when trying to walk to a simple destination.  Ana talks about the struggle in trying to inspire high school dropouts to consider going back to school.  When the kids continued to disrespect her and not listen to her, Ana laid into them with a few expletives.  This fiery response got their attention and got them in line.  Cenk points out that when he warned Ana about how tough this would be, she played the “I’m a professor card” with him.  Cenk talks about the fancy rich people conversations he overhears in the gym and his use of overpriced trainers for a limited time.

Ana joins Cenk for SCS.  Due to the melting arctic ice sheets, it has been determined that sea levels will rise as much as 10 feet, which will wipe out some major U.S. cities like Miami.  A sudden gust of wind took a kids’ inflatable house 50 ft into the air, which caused serious injuries to 2 of the 3 kids that were trapped inside.  Christopher Columbus’ ship, the Santa Maria has been found.  Cenk and Ana point out that they would have no interest in traveling to see the ship.  A homeschooled girl was asked to leave her prom after some chaperone fathers kept staring at her because her dress was too short based on the finger test for length of dresses. NYPD was confiscating condoms from women as a manner of collecting evidence against sex workers.  Mayor De Blasio has put a halt to this practice.  A billionaire that bought beachfront property in San Mateo built fences and hired armed guards to keep anyone else from accessing the public beach by his property.  Now that he is in court for his actions, he caught a huge case of amnesia, claiming that he doesn’t remember buying the property, hiring armed guards, or putting up fences.  A study showed that a startling number of people consume alcohol, causing someone to die of alcohol related complications every 10 seconds.  Comparatively, the number of people that die of marijuana overdose is zero. The FDA is approving a new prosthetic arm that is much more robotic than previous ones. Cenk hosting today.  Karl Rove suggested that Hillary Clinton may have brain damage after her fall and head injury.  Even though people are lambasting Rove for the comments, Cenk points out how this will work in downgrading her competence.  Video of Rove appearing on Fox, claiming that he never said she has brain damage, but we do have to evaluate her health.  Video of former Bush spox Nicolle Wallace galvanizing Rove’s points about her health.  Donald Sterling gave Anderson Cooper an interview and simply dug a deeper hole for himself with his obsession over Magic Johnson. Updates on the Net Neutrality battle.  After many of the internet providers came out against the FEC’s plan to control the internet, the head of the FEC is scrambling to change his stance.  Marshall Henderson, former basketball player for Ole Miss, tweeted many hateful tweets directed at Michael Sam.  After he got tons of backlash and support, he revealed that he was conducting a psychology experiment for a gay friend that needed it for a school project.  Rahm Emanuel’s chances of being reelected as mayor of Chicago are looking slim after a poll shows how the large majority of citizens don’t believe in him. CNBC Anchor Brian Sullivan went off on how he can’t recognize the Republican Party and that they’ve pushed him away.  The most telling part is that he wrapped it up by saying this will be his last appearance on Morning Joe.
